Outsourcing FAQ
Clear questions. Practical answers.
A straightforward starting point for understanding how CIPL scopes, launches, operates, and governs outsourced services.
Before we begin
What clients usually want to know.
Every engagement is different, but the principles below explain how CIPL approaches channels, operating hours, languages, transition, quality, security, systems, and governance.
What type of outsourcing engagement does CIPL support?
CIPL supports dedicated teams, managed processes, campaign-based programs, and blended operating models. The right structure depends on scope, volumes, service windows, systems, controls, and the outcomes the client wants to own or transfer.
Which customer-contact channels can CIPL support?
CIPL can support voice, email, web chat, WhatsApp and messaging, SMS, social channels, client portals, CRM queues, ticketing systems, and blended omnichannel workflows.
Can CIPL operate 24×7?
Yes. CIPL supports 24×7 operations where the program requires it. Our Sun Direct office already operates continuously with round-the-clock staffing and supervision.
Which languages are supported?
CIPL supports English, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Odia, Kannada, Punjabi, and more languages. Language coverage for a specific program is confirmed during workforce and launch planning.
How does a new process launch?
A launch normally moves through discovery, solution design, documentation, recruitment or allocation, training, systems and access setup, pilot validation, controlled ramp-up, and steady-state governance.
How is quality managed?
Quality controls are designed for the process and may include interaction sampling, transaction checks, calibration, coaching, maker-checker review, exception management, knowledge control, and action tracking.
How does CIPL approach information security and continuity?
Controls are matched to the engagement and include role-based access, documented handling procedures, network security, monitoring, backups, escalation paths, and continuity planning. CIPL offices use pfSense firewalls with high availability, multiple internet links, UPS protection, and generator backup.
What reporting and governance can clients expect?
Reporting is agreed during solution design and can include volume, service level, quality, productivity, exceptions, ageing, customer outcomes, and improvement actions through daily, weekly, and monthly governance.
Can CIPL work in client systems?
Yes. Subject to access and security approval, teams can work in client CRM, ERP, contact-centre, ticketing, research, and workflow systems. CIPL can also help implement or integrate supporting platforms.
Can an existing process be transitioned to CIPL?
Yes. Transition planning covers knowledge transfer, access, baseline data, people and capacity, controls, service continuity, pilot or parallel run, risk tracking, and phased ownership transfer.
